As Bluestep Bank’s Group Accounting and Reporting Manager you will be responsible for the statutory financial reporting and regulatory reporting requirements of the Group, including consolidation and management of the annual audit process for the Group entities. You will be responsible for both the monthly and annual closing process and the provision of technical accounting guidance and analysis.
You will be responsible for setting the right tone in external financial reporting, both in English and Swedish.
You will be reporting to the Head of Finance and work closely with the finance team consisting of five people.
Key Responsibilites:
- The planning of the interim-and annual report process, including the drafting of text, compilation of required disclosures and liaising with different stakeholders that contribute to the various sections in the interim-and annual report.
- Monthly consolidation process.
- Regulatory reporting which includes compiling, review, analysis and reporting of regulatory reporting including FINREP, Standard reporting, MRI, ORBOF, to respective countries in which the bank operates.
- Knowledge of financial instruments, hedge accounting, expected credit losses in terms of IFRS9.
- Understanding of customer behavior and the impact on stage migration in provisions against the loan portfolio to assist you with the interpretation and analysis of the financial and regulatory reporting.
- Strategic thinking for financial accounting, interpretation of new standards and an interest in understanding differences between IFRS, Norwegian GAAP and Finnish GAAP, where applicable.

Qualifications:
- University degree in finance and accounting
- 5+ years of experience within Auditing, Financial accounting advisory services.
- Practical experience of FINREP, Standard reporting, MRI, ORBOF, to respective countries in which the bank operates
- Understanding of IFRS, consolidation principles, regulatory developments of banks, learning more about regulatory reporting, capital requirements etc.
- Practical experience or interest of Group Consolidations
- Experience in banking is a plus
- Advanced MS Office skills and particularly Excel as well as experience of Consolidation Systems
- Fluency in Swedish and English
- Experience or a willingness to learn more about sustainability reporting is a plus
- An interest in understanding systems and how they work that are used in the finance function.
